WHAT IS A TRAFFIC ARRAIGNMENT
At the arraignment stage, a judge or commissioner will read us your traffic violations/charges against you. They will ask if you want to plead guilty, not guilty, or no contest. At this point, if retained counsel, we will make all necessary motions, if applicable, enter a “NOT GUILTY” plea on your behalf, and schedule a new trial date. Depending on the strategy we will use for your case, we might schedule a court date within 45 days OR after 45 days.
